Once every 18 months, you may take a defensive driving course to
remove 4 points from your driving record. This can help prevent a
license suspension due to accumulating excessive driving points.
However, it will not remove any accidents or tickets from your driving
record. They’ll still show up on your driving record until New Year’s
Day on the fourth year after the conviction date.
Driving University's course is an easy way to lose some of the driving
points on your New York driving record. We offer classroom courses
taught by licensed instructors in convenient locations around the
state. New York currently requires all defensive driving classes to be
taught in a classroom, but our instructors try to make the course as
interesting and painless as possible. Click
